How It Works

Spotipo integrates with Draytek Vigor routers through external portal server configuration and RADIUS authentication, delivering professional captive portal capabilities for small to medium business networks.

External portal architecture. Leverages Draytek's Hotspot Web Portal feature with external server mode for seamless captive portal deployment without firmware modifications.

RADIUS authentication integration. Configure Spotipo as external RADIUS authentication and accounting server for secure guest access management and usage tracking.

Multi-profile support. Draytek's profile system allows multiple hotspot configurations, enabling different access policies across network segments or SSIDs.

Automatic MAC passthrough. Standardized MAC address format ensures compatibility with Spotipo's device tracking and session management systems.

Whitelist management. Domain-based whitelist controls ensure uninterrupted access to authentication infrastructure, payment processing, and social login services.

HTTPS redirection options. Configurable HTTPS redirection provides enhanced security while maintaining fallback to HTTP for compatibility with certificate-sensitive environments.

1. Create Draytek Site

Generate your Draytek configuration in Spotipo dashboard, receiving external portal URL, RADIUS credentials, and NAS identifier automatically.

2. Configure Hotspot Profile

Set up external portal server in Draytek's Hotspot Web Portal with Spotipo splash URL and standardized MAC address format configuration.

3. Set Up RADIUS Server

Configure external RADIUS authentication and accounting with Spotipo primary and secondary server details, shared secrets, and interim update intervals.

4. Configure Whitelist

Add Spotipo infrastructure domains and optional Stripe payment processing domains to Draytek's whitelist for seamless authentication flow.
